Willy is friendly and loves attention. He is missing one of his eyes probably shot at with a gun, when he was running at large out in the country. Willy was adopted out with his packmate, Billy from Clay County. He was picked up by Wayne County Animal Control who called us to get the phone number for Willy's adopter based on his microchip. The owners were found but did not come to pick up Willy. Willy's long time foster, Arletta, asked Wayne County to call if no rescues pulled Willy for transport. When Wayne County sent Arletta an email that no rescues had pulled him and that Willy was at risk of being euthanized, Arletta contacted me and went to get him. I'm just glad Arletta loved Willy. He deserves another chance. We hope to find it for him.
