Delilah was purchased from a bengal breeder and has papers, though her owner never sent them in to register her.  She has rosettes, and is a beautiful cat.  This is not a cat that we've decided to call a bengal.  She's the real deal.

Delilah is spayed and front declawed. 

Delilah did great in her home when she was the only pet.  However when her owners bought a puppy, things started going south for Delilah.  She did not like the puppy and did not like it being in the house, worse, sleeping in the bed with the owner's young daughter.

Upset over the situation, Delilah, who had never had litter box issues before, started peeing in the child's bed, which had been her domain before the puppy arrived.  Delilah has used her litterbox perfectly since being in our care, so it was likely just the situation.

Forced to choose about which to keep, the family decided to keep the dog and let us find a new home for Delilah. 

Delilah liked to cuddle with her previous owners and would come running when they called her and clicked their fingers.  She doesn't like to be picked up or held, but does like to cuddle up next to people once they are sitting down. 

Delilah was purchased as a kitten for $500 and she is declawed and spayed.  We have set her adoption fee at $150 with a completed/approved adoption application.

The typical adoption fee for dogs is $150.  It includes vaccination, deworming , spay/neuter, heartworm testing on dogs of age and microchipping, which is now mandatory by state law.  Some dogs we discount to as little as $50 due to sponsorship.  Some dogs we ask a higher adoption fee, which helps us recoup expenses on heartworm treatment on other dogs.

All cats are spayed/neutered/vaccinated/flea treated/dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption.  Cat adoption fees range from $60-$100.  We spay/neuter/microchip/vaccinate and deworm all kittens and cats, prior to adoption.  Our shyer/less adoptable cats are classed as "barn cats" and are free with a completed/approved barn cat application, which can be found on our website.
