Clay County Animal Rescue & ShelterTerrier / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Small
If there were such a breed as a "miniature pitbull" it would look something like this. Trixie is a very unusual mix. Her mama dog was a 10 lb Benji terrier type dog which I've included a picture of. Daddy dog was a blue and white pitbull. Trixie looks just like a pitbull, except she's pint-sized. I'm guessing she ends up just over 20 lbs., though it is hard to guess. Trixie and her sisters are super sweet and playful. They are all spayed and ready for their new forever homes! More about TrixieGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter is located at 375 Water Elm Lane, Flora, IL. It includes vaccination, deworming , spay/neuter, heartworm testing on dogs of age and microchipping, which is now mandatory by state law. Some dogs we discount to as little as $50 due to sponsorship. Some dogs we ask a higher adoption fee, which helps us recoup expenses on heartworm treatment on other dogs. All cats are spayed/neutered/vaccinated/flea treated/dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption. Cat adoption fees range from $60-$100. We spay/neuter/microchip/vaccinate and deworm all kittens and cats, prior to adoption. Our shyer/less adoptable cats are classed as "barn cats" and are free with a completed/approved barn cat application, which can be found on our website.
